After completing her studies as a graphic designer, Catharina Bossaert discovered her vocation in the fashion world. From her home base in Ghent, she developed women’s and children’s collections, specialising in knitwear. Alongside her fashion career, she explored sculpture and ceramics through various courses. With extensive experience for her own brands and labels such as Maison Tricot and Fred & Ginger, Bossaert is evolving into a hybrid designer.

A move to Copenhagen in 2020 marked a turning point, inspiring her to deepen her technical knowledge and broaden her creative process. Over the past three years, she has taken courses and workshops in textiles and spatial design. Her autonomous work has been exhibited in Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2023, her playful, sculptural collection Uovo earned her an honourable mention at the Serax design competition, organised with Weekend Knack. The collection explores contrasts between materials, textures and forms, embodying her design philosophy.
