Hospitality Director Serax

Location: Kontich, Belgium (with frequent travel)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Director to lead our hospitality division. In this role, you will manage and nurture relationships with our key hospitality partners, oversee the sales organization, and drive the strategic growth of our brand in the hospitality sector. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about design, sales, and hospitality, and who is ready to represent Serax on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and event spaces.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand Serax’s presence in the hospitality market.
  • Oversee key account management and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Travel frequently to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the brand at trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure product offerings meet the evolving needs of the hospitality industry.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to improve product innovation and positioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior sales or hospitality management role, ideally within the tableware, lifestyle, or design industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different cultural and business environments.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • A passion for design and an understanding of trends in the hospitality sector.

Preferred

  • Fluency in English and French or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with high-end or luxury brands.

Account Manager Retail Germany 

Location: Germany, South, remote

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible to develop and grow the relationship and business with our Accounts in the southern part of Germany. 
  • You identify and contact prospects by virtual calls and in-person visits. You are present at Tradeshows and Network Events to build your existing client base and analyze new opportunities. 
  • You analyze the needs of the customers and prepare a plan with the customer to fulfill their needs.
  • You prepare and follow up on quotes with the customer, assure a clear communication of PO’s and smooth onboarding of new customers. 
  • You analyze numbers and prepare clear and correct reporting with our reporting tools. 
  • You participate in monthly sales meetings, by giving your colleagues insights to relevant business cases. 
  • You translate the business goals set by management to clear objectives and create an action plan for your own clients. 

Profile

  • You are enthusiastic and passionate. You love design and lifestyle. 5+ years of relevant experience in a sales role, ideally in the home decoration industry.
  • You are a go-getter, love to find new customers and are passionate about business development. You have strong interpersonal skills and thrive on building new relationships.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you are a great listener. You can use the right tools to communicate your story and win clients.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and be able to prioritize tasks. The majority of your work week, you will be on the road visiting clients and driving sales with new and existing clients. 
  • Proactive and motivated with strong problem solving and follow up skills.
  • You are result driven, are eager to reach your goals and have a winner mentality. 
  • You are located in the southern part of Germany and speak fluent German and English.
