Role Overview

The Global Hospitality Director will lead the development of Serax’s hospitality business into a global player in the high-end hospitality market. This includes positioning the full Serax portfolio (tableware, lighting, home accessories, and furniture) within the hospitality market. The role is about more than growth; it is about building lasting structures, teams, and capabilities that will sustain Serax Hospitality well beyond the current leadership. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build trust with global hospitality partners, and an extensive network in the industry. As a senior member of the Management Team, the Director ensures hospitality is represented across the company and delivers both topline growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the long-term vision and strategy for Serax Hospitality, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Build and deliver an ambitious yet realistic budget for 2026 and a three-year growth plan.
  • Take full accountability for revenue and margin delivery in hospitality.
  • Review and design the organizational structure of the hospitality team to match future opportunities.
  • Lead and coach the current team of 6 FTEs and 6 agents, while shaping and recruiting the capabilities required for future growth.

Key Account Manager Hospitality

Reporting Line

  • The Key Account Manager Hospitality reports directly to the Global Hospitality Director.

Key Responsibilities -> Distributors + Corps

  • Drive the development of Serax’s hospitality business by positioning the full portfolio within high-end global markets.
  • Take full accountability for meeting revenue and margin delivery targets within assigned accounts.

Your Profile

  • 5 years of experience in international key account management, preferably within high end hospitality or interior design.

  • A relevant network in global high end hospitality is a significant advantage.

Quality & Compliance Manager

Location: Kontich, Belgium

The Role

As our Quality & Compliance Manager, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for the integrity of Serax products. Your mission is to bridge the gap between aesthetic design and technical excellence, ensuring every piece—from a designer plate to a complex lighting fixture—is safe, durable, and compliant with global regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Quality Management

  • Product Development: Partner with the Design and R&D teams during the initial phases to identify potential quality risks before production begins.
  • First Production Runs: Oversee the transition from prototype to mass production, setting quality benchmarks and "Golden Samples" with global sourcing partners.
  • After-Sales Excellence: Monitor product performance in the market and use consumer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

2. Claims Management & Root Cause Analysis

  • Design and implement a streamlined, data-driven claims management process.
  • Lead cross-functional "Quality Circles" to identify root causes of defects, aligning solutions across Product Development, Sourcing, Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Turn claims data into actionable insights to reduce return rates and improve customer satisfaction.

3. Global Compliance & Certification

  • Ensure all products meet international legislative requirements, including but not limited to:
    - Food Safety: (EU/FDA standards for tableware).
    - Safety & Technical: Fire safety for furniture, CE and FCC certification for lighting.
    - Sustainability & Environment: Navigating EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) and packaging directives.
    - Functionality: Validating claims such as "dishwasher proof," "oven safe," or weight capacities.
  • Strategic Business Cases: Conduct cost-benefit analyses for various certifications, building business cases to justify the investment in compliance versus market access and brand protection.

Your Profile

  • Technical Appetite: You have a genuine interest in the technicalities of materials (ceramics, wood, glass, electronics) and how they behave.

Role Overview

As Customer Service Manager, you will lead and develop a team of 8 Customer Service Representatives. You are the driving force behind customer satisfaction and process optimization. A key priority for this role is the strategic evolution of the CS team from a largely administrative function into a commercial, value-creating partner that actively contributes to company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Transformation: Lead the shift from reactive, administrative task management to proactive, commercial customer engagement.
  • Value Creation: Train and coach the team (8 FTEs) to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and turn service moments into revenue generating interactions.
  • Commercial Synergy: Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to align service strategies with commercial goals and customer loyalty programs.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Commercial Experience (Plus): A background in sales, account management, or a commercially driven service environment is highly valued.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to lead organizational change and move teams toward value-added services.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience translating SAP data into commercial strategies and operational improvements.
  • Communication: Strong people management skills; able to motivate a team toward new, performance based goals.

Account Manager Retail Germany 

Location: Germany, South, remote

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible to develop and grow the relationship and business with our Accounts in the southern part of Germany. 
  • You identify and contact prospects by virtual calls and in-person visits. You are present at Tradeshows and Network Events to build your existing client base and analyze new opportunities. 
  • You analyze the needs of the customers and prepare a plan with the customer to fulfill their needs.
  • You prepare and follow up on quotes with the customer, assure a clear communication of PO’s and smooth onboarding of new customers. 
  • You analyze numbers and prepare clear and correct reporting with our reporting tools.
