With Rosamar, Kris Van Assche continues his collaboration with Serax through a collection of sculptural ceramic objects inspired by his summer memories on the Costa Brava. Balancing function and sculpture, the pieces reinterpret traditional pots as contemporary interior objects. Clean lines, sharp contrasts and a distinctive square base give Rosamar a strong architectural presence.
Designer
Kris Van Assche is one of Belgium’s most renowned fashion designers, celebrated for his refined, minimalist style and his ability to merge tradition with innovation. From his early days at Yves Saint Laurent and Dior to leading Berluti, Van Assche has consistently pushed boundaries while honoring craftsmanship. His fascination with clothing began in childhood, inspired by his grandmother Josephine, who helped spark his creative journey. With a deep respect for heritage and an eye on the future, he brought streetwear into the world of haute couture, redefining the codes of menswear.
Today, Van Assche ventures beyond fashion, creating interior objects in collaboration with Serax. His work remains thoughtful, balanced, and contemporary, a reflection of his quiet strength as a designer. His lifelong love of flowers, often featured in his fashion collections, now finds new expression in objects for the home.
