Collection
Serax is expanding the collection of Coseincorso with the Pillar Lamp, a table lamp inspired by the ruins of a column from classical antiquity. The design strikes a perfect balance between archaeology and modern design. The refined glaze of the ceramics creates a flickering light effect, similar to candlelight, contributing to an intimate atmosphere in the home.
Designer
COSEINCORSO is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Marzia Cerio and Marwann Frikach. Their practice is mainly focused on challenging the boundaries between art and design. The two designers combine a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic with traditional craftsmanship, with the aim of infusing the production process with poetry again, like in traditional arts and crafts. All COSEINCORSO objects are made in collaboration with artisans who use locally sourced materials only. COSEINCORSO strives to convey an aspect of history, archaeology or geography in each of its collections, transposing the magic of specific cultures and customs into a series of poetic designs.
