Filip Arickx, known as co-founder of the iconic fashion brand A.F. Vandevorst, has been passionately practicing glassblowing for the past six years. For his first collaboration with Serax, he created OAK Lighting: a series of lamps that translate the rich texture of oak bark into glass. The shape was inspired by an oak tree he discovered by chance in a friend’s garden. The collection features three sizes and six colors — white, dark grey, amber, purple, soft pink, and dark green — adding a subtle, expressive touch to the organic form. The production process took nearly three years to perfect. The result: a lamp that balances sculptural presence with functional design, ranging from understated to eye-catching.
