Sophie Ferjani

Sophie Ferjani is a French interior architect and designer known for her warm, distinctly Mediterranean approach to interiors. Trained in spatial design at ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres, she opened her own studio in 2005, creating spaces guided by a natural balance of material, form and colour. Inspired by the South of France and its way of life, Ferjani is drawn to honest materials, relaxed forms and the beauty of imperfection. In 2017, she opened La Sélection, her concept store in Marseille, followed in 2023 by her own brand of textiles, tableware and candles inspired by Mediterranean living.

For Serax, Sophie Ferjani brings this tactile design language to the Heritage lighting collection. Inspired by Provençal pottery and traditional craftsmanship, the collection combines textured chamotte clay with raw wool to create table lamps, floor lamps, wall lamps and ceiling lights with a warm, timeless character.
