Hospitality Director Business Development

Location: Kontich, Belgium (with international travel)

You don't sell tableware. You open doors that were never on the market.

Serax is not a supplier. We are a design house that happens to make the objects that set the table at some of the world's most considered hotels and restaurants. Our portfolio, tableware, glassware, lighting, objects, and furniture, is selected by people who care deeply about what they put in a room. That is our audience. That is your playground.

We are building the global Serax Hospitality engine, and we need someone to own a piece of it.

Your role

  • You will carry a book of high-end hospitality accounts, groups, independents, procurement leads, F&B directors, and you will grow it. Not through volume calls and slide decks, but through genuine relationships, a sharp commercial instinct, and the ability to make a Serax proposal feel like the obvious choice.
  • You will report directly to the Global Hospitality Director and operate with real autonomy. Your geography and account mix will be defined by where your network is strongest. We are not looking for someone to fill a territory. We are looking for someone who already has one.

You might be the right person if

  • You have spent the last five or more years inside international key account management, and at least part of that time has been in high-end hospitality, interior design, or a premium goods environment where relationships are built over years, not quarters.
  • You are comfortable walking into a Procurement Director's office and a Chef's kitchen on the same day, and you adapt instinctively. You know that the real decision is rarely made in the meeting. You have a network you are proud of, and the people in it take your calls.
  • You are commercially precise. You track margin, not just revenue, and you know the difference. You can build a business case in Excel and present it in a way that makes people want to say yes.
  • You are not looking for a job with a script. You want room to build something, and you understand that accountability comes with that.

Key Account Manager Hospitality

Location: Kontich, Belgium (with international travel)

Serax is seeking a Key Account Manager to accelerate the growth of our hospitality business. You will build strategic relationships with high-end hospitality partners and turn our unique design portfolio, including tableware, lighting, interior objects, and furniture, into commercial impact.

Reporting Line

  • The Key Account Manager Hospitality reports directly to the Global Hospitality Director.

Key Responsibilities -> Distributors + Corps

  • Drive the development of Serax’s hospitality business by positioning the full portfolio within high-end global markets.
  • Take full accountability for meeting revenue and margin delivery targets within assigned accounts.
  • Position Serax Hospitality as a trusted partner for global high-end hospitality players by leveraging our unique design DNA.
  • Identify and acquire prestige hospitality projects to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Align account strategies with internal functions to ensure hospitality is represented across the company.
  • Travel internationally as required to manage global accounts and hotel chains.

Your Profile

  • 5 years of experience in international key account management, preferably within high end hospitality or interior design.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, adaptability, and pragmatism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with senior industry stakeholders.
  • A relevant network in global high end hospitality is a significant advantage.
  • Flexibility regarding geographical scope, to be defined based on your specific network and expertise.
  • Commercially driven with a proven track record in revenue and margin delivery.
  • Analytical thinker with financial acumen and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to improve efficiency is a plus.

Supply Planner

Location: Kontich, Belgium

As Supply Planner you are a key link between the suppliers and our warehouses. Working within our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment and reporting to the Planning Lead, you create and follow up orders, manage supplier relationships and monitor inbound supply performance. You are the operational backbone of our procurement function — detail-oriented, data-driven and proactive in resolving supply disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchase Order Management

  • Create, manage and follow up purchase orders in SAP S/4HANA from requisition through goods receipt.
  • Ensure PO accuracy — quantities, prices, delivery dates and terms — and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and Finance.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively chase confirmations, shipment bookings and delivery updates.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels between SAP S4HANA and warehouse systems to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Create and follow up orders for in-house production.
  • Create, manage and follow up replenishment orders to the US entity.

Inbound Logistics Coordination

  • Create inbound delivery documents in SAP to support accurate goods receipt and inventory planning
  • Coordinate inbound shipment schedules with the warehouse to ensure smooth receipt and put-away.
  • Track shipments, manage exceptions (delays, damages, short shipments) and update SAP lead-time data accordingly.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse root causes of supply disruptions, stockouts and delivery failures and translate findings into improved working methods.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement team.

Your profile

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or a related field — or equivalent through experience.
  • No prior experience in supply planning, procurement or ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) is required, but it’s considered a plus. We are open to motivated candidates who are eager to grow in the role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical mindset — you work with data confidently and make decisions based on facts, not assumptions.
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a high volume of orders and supplier interactions simultaneously.
  • Proactive and solution-driven: you flag issues early and come with proposals, not just problems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Affinity with or curiosity about AI tools and digital ways of working is a definite plus.
  • Fluent communication in English.
