Collection

Serax breidt de collectie van Coseincorso uit met de Pillar Lamp, een tafellamp geïnspireerd op de ruïnes van een zuil uit de klassieke oudheid. Het ontwerp balanceert perfect tussen archeologie en eigentijds design. Het verfijnde glazuur van het aardewerk zorgt voor een flakkerend lichteffect, vergelijkbaar met kaarslicht, en draagt zo bij aan een intieme sfeer in huis.

Designer

COSEINCORSO is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Marzia Cerio and Marwann Frikach. Their practice is mainly focused on challenging the boundaries between art and design. The two designers combine a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic with traditional craftsmanship, with the aim of infusing the production process with poetry again, like in traditional arts and crafts. All COSEINCORSO objects are made in collaboration with artisans who use locally sourced materials only. COSEINCORSO strives to convey an aspect of history, archaeology or geography in each of its collections, transposing the magic of specific cultures and customs into a series of poetic designs.
